Fighting for every
person's right to speak.

STUTTA, trading as the Australian Stuttering Association, is a community built for and by people who stutter. We believe in education, advocacy, and authentic connection.

Whether you're someone who stutters, a family member, or a speech pathology professional — you belong here.

1

Create space for stuttering

Through our Speak Freely initiative, we create a space for Australians (and others) who stutter to speak, network, and share their experiences.

2

Fight discrimination

We stand against discrimination of people who stutter based on the way they speak.

3

Education & advocacy

We provide information about therapy options and advocate for each individual's right to pursue or reject them.

4

Support for allies

We create space for allies — friends, family, employers — to learn how to truly support people who stutter.

VOICE
Your voice. Your journey.

Speak Freely

Speak Freely is our flagship community program — safe, welcoming spaces where people who stutter can connect, share, and just… talk. No pressure. No judgment.
